    That said, most people leave their treatment feeling noticeably more relaxed, calm, and at ease.

  • Most patients experience little to no discomfort during an acupuncture treatment. Your comfort is always important to me, and I work gently and collaboratively to help your nervous system relax, as relaxation is an important part of the healing process. The needles used are extremely fine and inserted carefully. You may notice a mild tingling, warmth, heaviness during treatment, which is a normal response.

  • Treatment response varies from person to person. Some patients notice improvements within just a few sessions, while longer-term or chronic concerns may benefit from a more structured treatment plan over several weeks. Your care will always be tailored to your individual needs and health goals.

  • Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment. During the treatment, I may need access to your legs, arms, abdomen, or back, depending on your individual needs. Your comfort and privacy are always respected, with towels provided throughout the session.

  • Yes, I am a fully registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner with AHPRA and a member of AACMA. All registered acupuncturists in Australia are required to complete a minimum four-year full-time Bachelor degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, ensuring a high standard of training, safety, and clinical care.

  • No referral is required. You can book directly with a qualified acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.

  • Most private health funds in Australia offer rebates for acupuncture treatments, depending on your extras cover. It is recommended to check with your health fund for eligebility.
