Oncology Acupuncture
Over the past decade, I have been dedicated to deepening my knowledge about the role of Acupuncture Oncology, an integrative approach that is used alongside Western medicine in hospitals and healthcare settings around the world to help reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. I recently completed one of the most comprehensive international training programs in Acupuncture Oncology with the TCM Academy, taught by experienced hospital based Chinese medicine practitioners, Western medical doctors and oncologists. A growing body of research supports the benefits of acupuncture in oncology care to help improve wellbeing and manage side effects.
I also believe acupuncture offers much more than the correct placement of needles during what can be an overwhelming and vulnerable time. My intention is always to provide a calm, reflective and supportive space. I take time to listen and share my knowledge while offering support for your wellbeing at any stage of your treatment and health journey.
Treatment Philosophy
My intention is to use my professional knowledge and years of clinical experience to empower you, supporting you with the tools needed to make the changes in your life that feel relevant and meaningful. I see treatment as a collaborative process, where your voice, your experience and your goals are central.
I do not run multiple treatment rooms at once. This allows me to give you my full attention, to listen carefully, and develop a thoughtful and personalised health plan.
